Planthopper Species:
Two species of planthopper infest rice. These are the brown planthopper (BPH); and the whitebacked planthopper (WBPH).
Management: Contact us for more details:info@baysource.cn
Outbreaks result from pesticides destroying natural enemies (BPH eggs hatch unchecked, and surviving BPH quickly build-up populations to damaging levels), or when longwinged planthoppers are being carried in by the wind. We could adopt chemical control measures.

Notes:
1.Spray during the peak period of nymph incubation
2.Carry out the compounding of pesticides in a reasonable and gradual manner to avoid resistance and phytotoxicity.
3.Keep a water layer in the field when spraying
4.Planthopper are mostly at the base of the rice clump, must pay more attention to the base when spraying.
